Master Accelerator

Fundraising Support for Startups in All Stages

We Make You Investor-Ready

The Master Accelerator supports startups at all stages to prepare for their next funding round and become investor-ready. With over 15 years of experience and extensive fundraising knowledge, the Master Accelerator team helps founders find the capital they need for their startup and succeed in scaling.

Why Master Accelerator?

Whether angel investments or venture capital – fundraising is a long and tedious process that usually takes around 6-9 months and requires a lot of knowledge, discipline, the right documents, and a good network. In fact, many startups struggle to find the right investors, tell their stories convincingly, and raise the capital they need to grow.

The Master Accelerator was created specifically for this situation and provides targeted support to teams from all over Germany in preparing and executing their next round of funding. The 24-month program includes 6 months of intensive mentoring with a fixed curriculum followed by 18 months of demand-driven support. Upon successful completion of a financing round, the Master Accelerator receives a success fee of three percent. Read more in our FAQ.

FAQ

Who can apply for the Master Accelerator?

Startups from all over Germany can apply for the Master Accelerator until August 27. The program has no industry focus – founders with scalable ideas from all industries are welcome.

The startup does not necessarily have to be founded yet, but should be close to it.

How does the application process work?

The application for the Master Accelerator is done via the Accelerator App and includes a short questionnaire and the upload of the pitch deck. Special attention is paid to the areas of Traction, Team, Market & Competition, Value Proposition, Business Model and Think Big Potential.

From all applications, the top startups will pitch virtually to the program team and answer questions during September 18-21. After all pitches are completed, the most convincing startups will be selected to participate in the program.

The program starts with the Opening Day on October 17 in Munich.

How does the program work for startups?

Starting with the program launch, the startups will receive 6 months of intensive on-site support in Munich. Every Tuesday, all program participants meet for Founder’s Day at the Entrepreneurship Center for talks and workshops on fundraising, primarily on fundraising. During this time, the teams can also use the co-working space at the German Entrepreneurship Center free of charge.

After completing the 6 months, the startups receive another 18 months of on-demand support, for example through access to the Master Accelerator network, invitations to masterclasses, and reduced co-working rates.

What are the costs for the Master Accelerator?

Participating startups and the Master Accelerator team work together to help startups achieve a successful funding round. As compensation, the Master Accelerator receives a 3 percent commission on funding rounds successfully completed within the 24-month period from the start of the program.

This success fee is only applied to the first 5 million. This means that if you really take off and raise more money, we will not charge you another fee. If contracts or LOIs with investors already exist before the program start, individual arrangements are possible.

No participation fee in the form of company equity is required.
